Rollerbladin'

The big boys received rollerblades for Christmas and fortunately we were able to get outside so they could try them out. . . oh what fun! They've been wearing them inside the house and practicing their balancing, and they're doing pretty good. A couple of tumbles but then right back up and at it again. Now in addition to all of our hiking and biking we can add rollerblading. . . oh the adventures that await us!

Dinosaurs

DS#3 and his creation. . . the Dino. We read a story and then we got out the molding clay and they created their version of what we read. I love the attention to detail. . .notice the feet, eyes, and tail. In the 1st pic you'll notice the Dino on the left, see the spines and the shaped body? Their attention to detail is just amazing to me. . .pretty impressive, huh? They all love their clay, they will literally play for several hours with it.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is such a special time and I so enjoy our family tradition. We sit around the tree, sing some songs, read the Christmas story from the Bible and then they open 1 gift. . . which is their 'Christmas jammies'. Then they get dressed and we make a big batch of hot cocoa and we all load up and drive around and look at all the beautiful lights and decorations. It's so fun to watch their faces as they witness and take in all the beauty and listen to their excited voices. . . I just love it.

Funny Faces

The big boys are really into making funny faces right now, so I decided to indulge them by snapping a pic of them hooping it up while they tried to see who made the funniest face. Funny thing (no pun intended), most of their 'funny faces' looked just like one another even though they weren't looking at each other. . . must be in the genes! They get that from their Daddy! lol

While the big boys were hooping it up, littlest man was indulging in a treat all of his own. . . chocolate chip cookies. Hmmm. . . who had the most fun? You decide! lol

"Last one in the pool is a rotten egg!" lol

Faces to Love

DS#4 loves hats! I think he's been saying the word "hat" since he's been about 10months old and he's been infactuated ever since! lol

DS#1 finishing off a treat and giving that look of "what?"

Such a charmer. . . oh yeah, most definitely!

DS#3 is such a little caregiver - always looking out for his brothers and checking on Mama. I love this shot of him because it's a look our family knows well. . . he's such a lover.

Climbin' Around

DS#3 climbed up to the top of the tree and was just hangin' out. It's not often I'm able to get a serious shot of him. . . he has a full smile on his face about 95% of the time, so I'm enjoying this one.

DS#4 sitting on a lower branch of the tree, just smiling! He's a very happy fellow!

DS#2 hanging upside down from a branch during his climbing session. They're such little monkeys!

Video Call with Friends

This was an incredibly exciting day for the big boys as they had their 1st Video Call with their friends. They've been using the web cam for calls with their Pappa and Nana P but this was their 1st official video call with friends. They were sooo thrilled because their friends sang Happy Birthday and they got to see them again - how cool is that?! (Amazing technology compared to when we were this age, eh?)

Birthday Boys

DS#1 has the most amazing blue eyes - they are just surreal.

SUPER excited about the new super-soakers - obviously! lol They were the hit of the day!

DS#3 - he is the ornery one of our trio - totally ALL boy! I love this shot because it's just the perfect display of his personality.

DS#2 - I am in love with this shot of him. . . it shows his serious side, he's such a thinker and such a handsome little man.

DS1, 2 & 3 celebrated their 5th bday! Wow, unbelievable! They had a super time opening gifts and then they were outside playing with their super soakers before 8:30am. We had a fabulous day and closed it out with a visit to Cold Stone where, as you can see in the last photo, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves! (Notice my niece giving her Mommy quite 'the look'! lol)
