This is E, isn't she lovely??? The boys and I made a double batch of breakfast burritos and went for an early morning playdate with some of our oldest and dearest friends. We have been getting together with them since our crew was about 18mo old, and so they are truly like extended family. E graced us with modeling her dance outfit and I didn't dare miss capturing this little beauty. . . a future broadway performer perhaps?
Well, it's official. . . our littlest man is potty trained! I've always considered us very blessed with the experience of potty training - the big boys were so incredibly easy (we made sure they had the readiness signs) and it turns out so is our DS#4. He started telling us when he needed to go right before we celebrated his 2nd birthday and considering we were travelling with dh for work, we thought that was pretty impressive. So here we are, just after his birthday, and he is joining the ranks of the 'big boys'! lol Sadly for me, it is time to pack up all of our cloth diapers. . . it seems hard to believe he's already 2. . .
One of the things that I so enjoy most about homeschooling is how we are all learning and sharing together. On this particular early morning, DS#1, 3 & 4 were working on building some pattern rods together. DS#4 had heard the voices of the other 2 and literally jumped out of bed to join them. They are so incredibly patient with him and I love watching them sharing their knowledge with him. . . just as God intended it.

I am the luckiest lady! Not only do I have an attentive, doting husband, but I have 4 little men to share on "date" time with me as well. We rotate the boys around so they each have an individual date time with Mama and it's great for getting some 1:1 time. It's truly hard to say who enjoys it the most. . . them or me! lol 
This is our own little monkey. . . climbing indoors and hanging upside down! All of our guys have always been quite the skilled climbers and trust me, winter time does not stop them. . . they just become more creative about where they can climb! The smile says it all, doesn't it? Come on spring. . . only a couple of more months. . .
DS#4 has such an infectious laugh and smile. . .it's just impossible to be around him and not be smiling non-stop. I love the sheer joy of this age - it's a wonderful reminder for us to take/make the time to enjoy these moments.
